  1. That's not Diablo 1 on the left side 😀 That's Diablo 1 Belzebub HD. It's a modification with a bunch of different gameplay elements. 😀
just 2seconds into that video and already realized 😛

  2. What made Diablo 1 so great was its depth in darkness and the fact it wasn't trying to be dark! Something Blizzard has not repeated in the franchise since the original. The soundtrack and sound effects are a very strong contributing factor to this. The dead carcasses every where. The ground breaking weapon system, the excitement in identifying magic items or finding a unique drop. Creating an all powerful warrior. D3 was good but it got too colorful. It's not the dark dungeon creepy crawler it once was.

  3. Not sure what it is, but this 2016 rendition looks like a complete fail. It's more of a trying to rework diablo into diablo 3 then an faithful remaster of the original. It lost a lot of the original atmosphere, and where do the dead bodies in the town square come from, it's like they knew it was missing some aspect of horror and thought some corpses might help. You want a proper remake, hire David Brevik and get the original team to coach the new guys..

  4. 1996 Original Diablo was untouchable. I loved every aspect of the game. When Diablo 2 dropped, it wasn't the same for me but I still played it, and began to love that one as well.

  5. Well, this was certainly a strange idea. The fans of the original doesn't want a "new" diablo 1…they simply want the original game. Being a huge fan of the game when originally released, seeing this new version had me going "meh!". And newer players couldn't care less. So who exactly is this ment for?

  6. in 1996 they didn't have flashy skill effects and that actually was what made the game so scary at times. you felt like your character was weak and that you had to help him survive. in D3 the feeling is that your character is superman and you just have to decide when to kill everything by pressing a button

  7. I personally prefer Diablo and Diablo 2 to Diablo 3. I regret having spent all that money on Diablo 3 and it's expansion. Now I'm playing grim dawn which feels so much more like the former Diablo games.
